Greetings, my name is Thomas John Exelby, the creator of The Omnira.

Though I feel both uncomfortable and unnecessarily egotistical including my personal history… and that it is always wiser to judge someone based on their actions rather than words… secrecy does impede trust so I shall be forthcoming in all information I believe to be relevant to your assessment of my character.

Privacy is not a concern for me. I have nothing to hide and my conscience is clean.

Personal philosophy 

The following is a list of ideology by which I live my life, perhaps some may be beneficial to you too:

Love all humans. Respect those who are deserving. Trust in yourself more than anyone else.

Time and happiness are the most valuable resources of all.

Every action that does not yield a positive outcome is a waste of precious time.

Have faith in knowledge acquired through scientific method.

With knowledge, understanding. With understanding, contentment.

Grow always, mentally and physically.

Multi-task as much as possible and constantly challenge your limits.

Pain has a threshold, endure and embolden it.

Lying is an illogical waste of neurological processing that destroys difficult-to-earn trust and contaminates conscience. Truth is eternal and inescapable.

Any error can still become a valuable lesson.

Do not be angered in defeat, for without challenge one cannot improve.

There are no awards for victims. I must persevere in whatever circumstances beset me 

Embrace your rage and convert it into determination.

No human can be perfect and neither am I.

Empathize always; process the position of others.

Do not reply in fury unless utterly deserving.

Do not complain; offer solutions or only silence.

Do not criticise others without being constructive.

Do not allow yourself to be disrespected.

Do not be offended by those you do not respect.

Overwhelm with kindness and only unleash brutality when a necessity.

Happiness and health are important above all else.

Share gaze with everyone and you shall soon feel as one. (Direct eye contact is the most efficient non-physical contributor to emotional bond, though many are uncomfortable if too intense or unwelcome)

There is no lasting satisfaction found in materialism.

Be content with what comforts you have, there are others who suffer far worse.

I am grateful to be alive, safe, with clean oxygen, good food, loving family and fantastic friends. I have a purpose. I am growing stronger. Anything else is an unnecessary addition.

Make meaning of this meager lifespan.

I intend to give as much back to the society that gave me existence.

We, the Omnira, work together as one and kneel to none.

Be a good commander. One you would want and what is needed. Help and support others. Defend those in need. Provide clear and meaningful direction. Be calm, reliable and resolute….an embodiment of peace, power and wisdom.

A good leader is not judged by the riches they take for themselves but by what they achieve with and for those in their command.

Take note from past and pave future path with glorious ambition; salvation from extinction, a harmonious civilization and the health and happiness of billions.

This is a war for the good of humanity and I fight with honour, justice and righteousness. 

The faster I work the more lives I can improve. When slower, the more that will suffer in my negligence.

This is a cause worth dying for and I will sacrifice all.

Professional ambitions 

From a young age it was clear that my talents were in mechanical invention and philosophy. I was persistently designing contraptions and pondering perplexing problems.

And while I would certainly prefer to be creating wondrous machinery, I wish to help the most people I can, in what little time I have alive, in a manner most befitting my education.

In 2014, after many years of increasing dissatisfaction of political leaders both home and worldwide, it had become clear that in order to prevent corruption and incompetence in leadership it would require a completely new system, a new foundation for an improved civilization,  thus I commenced the creation of the Omnira.

My happiest memories are of other people smiling, not purchased products or acquired power, and my motivations in life reflect this. Memories such as enjoying adventures with friends, holding someone safe in my arms, providing meaningful advice, passing a ball to a teammate in sport and watching them score and passing freshly-cooked food to the homeless and seeing their eyes weep in gratitude. 

My actions are guided by conscience, rather than currency, and I am uncomfortable accepting money for anything other than an honorable endeavour.

I am completely confident in my capabilities, fully aware of my weaknesses, invigorated by responsibility to others and happy to suffer in order to provide a better life for others.

On matters of importance I am laboriously calculative, especially when it concerns the wellbeing of others, and am constantly concerned with problems both present and future, such as the long term implications of social trends, the damage caused by artificial food modification, the implementation of AI, the prolific amount of global pollution and the potential physiology of aliens.  

I love all humans, finding it easy to relate with people and make new friends.

What I see is that we are essentially all part of one extended family tree, tracing back millions of years…all are similar in emotions, experiences, blood and bone, what differentiates most is merely language and location of home. 

Regardless of any differences, we are all humans and always together.

Each individual, tribe and nation on this planet should be proud of their uniqueness.

Everyone has value, with a unique story that could only be completely understood from their perspective.

Of course, there are those who would unfairly harm others in their pursuit of personal profit and must be brought to justice. 

 

Notable flaws

I am definitely not without flaws and my past is littered with failures.  

I am often so concerned for the future that I do not connect with the present. 

For the greater part of my adolescent life I accomplished extremely little, having contracted severe illness during my adolescence, largely in fault due to gastrointestinal parasites, I was unable to complete tertiary education and denied acceptance into the Australian army. 

Much of my time from the age of 15 to 28 was spent bedridden from exhaustion, intoxicated with friends or immersed in the alternate realities of video games. 

Allowing myself to be defeated in this regard is my greatest shame.  If I had found the motivation I could have helped many more people…which is why I feel it imperative to waste no more of my life in sorrow and inaction.

Additionally, my perhaps naive disinterest in financial wealth, in addition to mediocre health, cost me the opportunity to raise a family with partners I loved dearly.

Following the death of a fiancé I was overwhelmed with immense rage and sadness. Ever since my heart beats broken and barren, lacking confirm and motivation for further romantic intent.

From this pain and regret I have certainly grown stronger and more ambitious. 

I am now significantly more emotionally resilient, emboldened by noble purpose, determined and disciplined. 

 

Personal history 

I was born in Australia, 1986 to a teacher and a doctor. Youngest of 4 siblings, we were spoiled with good food, education and travel.

From my father I inherited an unwavering commitment to healing and helping others.

And from my mother I inherited a passion for philosophy and learning, but very little of her patience.

Mixed European bloodline that is predominately English, Irish, Scottish and Danish.

My most significant personal idols of ancient times are Archimedes, Hippocrates, Imhotep, Kong Fuzi, Sun Tsu, Moses, Jesus and Muhammed.

My modern idols include Judith Sheindlin, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Wayne Brady, Bill Bailey, Tina Fey and Jimmy Barnes. 

My ‘default mode’ in social scenarios has always been comedian. I love to make people laugh.

Despite an overwhelming amount of time fixated on a digital screen, I am most comfortable in nature, at night, in an active construction site, or festival filled dancing delight. 

I am more comfortable covered in mud than dressed in a suit.

The closest I can come to effective meditation is chopping wood or lengthy drive. 

I am very competitive in sports and have little regard for personal safety. I always enjoy being a part of a team and find immense satisfaction in helping people succeed.

I come from an upbringing where to show pain any pain is a weakness that demoralizes allies and incites unnecessary concern. Due to this stubbornness I have been close to death on many occasions.

I’m always listening to music and on good days you’ll find me dancing or wearing a banana costume to a festival. 

Should one pry into my sexual history you will find someone fortunate enough to enjoy over a decade of faithful monogamous partnership as well as a period of profound promiscuousness. 

I love to cook for others because good food rarely fails to bring out a smile.

If I ever retire, I hope it will be on a small sailboat gliding gently across the pacific ocean, basking in warm sunlight and enjoying the company of people I meet along in my travels.

Either that or hurtling through space in the search of other life.

I have been fortunate to live comfortably in the veritable paradise of Australia while many struggle just to stay alive, which is why I feel the urgency to help those who suffer worldwide. 

 

Final Note

As the Omnira threatens to strip power and profit from the criminals and corrupt, it is inevitable that lies will spread in order to discredit my work and character.

In the event of my death, I have already chosen someone to help continue this work.

I know many people will dislike me and that is understandable. Nevertheless, nothing will ever stop me caring about you all.
